Cheddar O'Brien
Cheddar is the fearless driver behind But Did You Die Racing Team.
Known for his quick reflexes and “send it” attitude, Cheddar lives for the thrill of every corner.
When he’s not tearing up the track, you’ll find him wrenching on his car, cracking jokes with the crew, or scouting his next adrenaline rush.
Car: Radical SR3
Cheddar drives a Radical SR3 — a lightweight, open-cockpit race car built for speed and precision, featuring upgraded suspension and a track-tuned exhaust that delivers an unmistakable roar.

But Did You Die Moment
Before the historic Milwaukee Mile, Cheddar found the limits of his car—and the wall. As he says, “Nobody becomes a better driver without finding the limits.” True to the But Did You Die Racing Team spirit, he walked away with more experience and a few well-earned battle scars.


1990 Acura Integra
Clayton "The Outlaw" Vonmoos
Clayton is a former American Flat Track motorcycle racer whose career shifted after a life-threatening crash in 2018. He moved into autocross in 2020, earning multiple podium finishes over four seasons. Now stepping into wheel-to-wheel racing in 2025, Clayton has his sights set on his first win in 2026. Off the track, he shares his racing journey on YouTube as DIYClay525.
Car: 1990 Acura Integra
Clayton drives a B20 VTEC-powered 1990 Acura Integra nicknamed “The Outlaw.” With a massive 69" rear wing and aggressive splitter, the car is built for grip—and Clayton’s fearless driving style.

But Did You Die Moment
During the 2025 Milwaukee Mile race, an axle snapped on the final corner at 120 mph. Clayton kept the car off the wall by inches, proving exactly why he’s known for driving right on the edge.

2015 Evo X GSR & 2014 Evo X MR
Michael Valentich
Mike Valentich is a Croatian-born racer who has been competing since 2013. Over the years he has driven many different platforms, but he is best known for dominating behind the wheel of Mitsubishi Evos. With 148 wins, 69 Fastest Times of the Day, 26 championships, 8 Driver of the Year awards, and 13 lap records, Mike has built an impressive racing résumé. When he’s not chasing lap times, he spends his time coaching and mentoring other drivers through Valentich Motorsports.
Car: Mitsubishi Evo X
Mike runs two Evo platforms: a 2015 Evo X GSR road race build with a built engine, larger turbo, and full aero, and a 2014 Evo X MR autocross setup featuring an upgraded turbo and SST transmission—both purpose-built for speed and precision.

Flat through the Kink at 125 mph at Blackhawk Farms Raceway, Mike dove into Turn 7 braking late and sliding sideways on the edge of control—setting a new lap record in the process.

Anthony Williams
Anthony Williams is an enthusiastic member of the But Did You Die Racing Team, bringing a lifelong love of motorsports and a fearless attitude to the track. With years of riding ATVs and motorcycles and experience in autocross, Anthony developed a passion for precision driving and mechanical problem-solving. Still early in his competitive racing journey, he’s known for his goofy mindset, curiosity in the garage, and determination to keep improving every time he gets behind the wheel.
Car: 1990 Acura Integra & 2002 Civic SI
Anthony runs a 1990 Acura Integra for wheel-to-wheel racing and a 2002 Civic Si for autocross. Both builds reflect his hands-on approach to racing—constantly learning, wrenching, and pushing the limits to get the most out of every lap.

But Did You Die Moment
At his very first autocross event, Anthony got a little too enthusiastic after crossing the finish line—keeping the throttle wide open before slamming the brakes at the last second to avoid a porta-potty… that someone was inside. The driver was fine, the spectator survived, and Anthony learned an important lesson about braking zones.

2012 Acura TSX Sportwagon
Steven Zastrow
Steven is the adventurous spirit of the But Did You Die Racing Team.
A sportbike rider turned autocrosser, Steven brings his two-wheel precision to four-wheel chaos. Known for his laid-back humor and wild stunts, he believes, “It’s a lot easier to race a camping vehicle than it is to camp out of a racing vehicle.”
Car: 2012 Acura TSX Sportwagon
Steven pilots a 2012 Acura TSX Sportwagon, a rare blend of practicality and performance. With sport-tuned suspension and responsive handling, this unlikely wagon proves that even a family hauler can rip around the cones.

But Did You Die Moment
While riding his motorcycle at UW–Platteville, Steven hit black ice and gracefully slid through an intersection in front of a group of spectators. He walked away fine—and still claims it was less embarrassing than Cheddar’s crash the day they met
